Welcome to our RV Trip Journal!We decided to try and keep a website up to date with all the photos
and details from each of our RV camping trips. We hope you enjoy the photo's and
reading about our trips which hopefully will allow you to share the
experience with us.
Who we areAaron took a job in Salt Lake City with Rio Tinto in
the fall of 2005. After many long months, we finally sold the
house in Kansas and moved everyone up here. Moving to Utah during the beautiful spring months of 2006 was one
of the best moves we have ever made; mentally, physically and
financially. Being in a community which celebrates every possible
outdoors sport, it was just a matter of time before we were bitten
by at least one of the outdoor bugs (and no, I don't mean the
mosquito's!).
Our first camping trip was in July of '07 at Flaming
Gorge Reservoir in NE Utah with a rented pop-up Jayco trailer (see
link to the right). We loved it so much, we just had to have a
trailer of our own, only a pop-up was too small for a nearly grown
family. In August, we purchased a 2007 26' Springdale Summerland
trailer from a dealer in Houston Texas. Aaron & the kids jumped in
the truck and headed down to get it in early August and 3200 miles
later they pulled up to the hacienda, a brand new TT in tow.
